David Atherton is the author of Bake, Make, and Learn to Cook: Fun and Healthy Recipes for Young Cooks; Bake, Make, and Learn to Cook Vegetarian; and David Atherton's Baking Book for Kids. The 2019 winner of The Great British Baking Show and a former international health adviser, he now writes a food column for the Guardian, where he shares some of his fun and healthy recipes. He is passionate about ensuring that children grow up as food lovers and understand how to make tasty, healthy food. David Atherton lives in London. Katie Cottle is an illustrator and picture-book-maker who enjoys telling stories through drawing and a variety of media, including a mix of traditional and digital techniques. She loves using bright colors and drawing grumpy faces. In 2021, Katie Cottle was short-listed for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize. She lives in England.
